New Officials

Welcome to the District 6 Officials Association  

If you are interested in officiating in District 6 for the upcoming season, please READ the information and follow the steps below:

Registration is Open from JUNE 3rd - OCTOBER 1st each season 

New Officials Must be 13 years of age by October 31st, 2024.

Step 1: Complete the District 6 Online Registration Form Click Here

Step 2: Register and attend a USA Hockey Seminar. 

Step 3: Register with USA Hockey Registration is open from June 3 and closes October 31, 2024  Click Here (New Officials register for Level 1)

Step 4: Complete the USA Hockey Online Test

Step 5: Complete USA Hockey Training Modules for the appropriate Level (Levels -2-4)

Step 6: Complete Safe Sport Online Training and USA Background Check if you are 18-years and Older

Step 7:  Attend one of the District 6 Official’s MANDATORY Association General Membership Meetings: Meetings will be posted in June

Step 8: Follow the instructions presented at the Association Meeting (Step 7) doing this will complete the process to become a District 6 Official.  (New Officials must receive their USA Hockey Crest and Card before they can Referee a hockey game for USA Hockey)

Step 9: Register and pay MHOA fee (17 years of age and older) Link will be provided in June

Step 10: Follow the instructions presented at the Association Meeting for setting up Arbiter scheduling and Arbiter pay accounts

Remember you must attend one of the Association General Membership meetings to become a member of District 6 Officials Association.
